Title: LAMP Developer

Location: Irving, TX

Duration: 6 Months

 

Position: Web Application Developer | LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP), JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, HTML, XHTML, and XML.

Scope: Commercial experience developing in Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, HTML, XHTML, and XML. Good communication skills and the ability to interact and collaborate with staff. 

The contract involves the development of an internal web application with the ability to connect to data sources for interactive reporting services against large data sets with the focus on user interaction with the data. 

 

Required Skills:

 

•             3+ years commercial experience

•             Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP (object oriented), JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, HTML, XHTML, and XML

•             Excellent time management, personal organization, and written/verbal communication skills

•             Ability to work in an independent role with minimal supervision

 

Strongly Preferred:

 

•             Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

•             PHP Framework experience – CodeIgniter, ZEND Framework, or CakePHP

•             AJAX Framework experience – Jquery, Google Web Kit, Script.aculo.us, Zapatec, or other AJAX framework experience

•             Ability to connect to MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL databases and efficiently work with large data sets

•             Applicable industry recognized certifications

 

Following experience is a plus (optional):

 

•             Database queries, schemas, stored procedures, cursors, views, triggers, and best practices

•             Adobe Flash/ActionScript or Flex

•             Integration with Siteminder SSO

•             Integration with BMC's Remedy ticketing system

Brainbench test results or certifications
